The TRAIN WASH system can be designed in the C1000 SOA version as a stationary passage wash system for trains without length limitation, with or without current collector. The side surfaces and alternatively, at an additional cost, the roof slopes (with additional washing brushes) are cleaned during the passage. Depending on the passage speed, the system can be designed with a corresponding number of brush pairs to rub in washing chemicals and wash off the dissolved dirt. The train wash is completed with free-standing spray and rinsing stands.
The TRAIN WASH C5400 SOA system enables trains without current collector to be cleaned semi-stationary or also by overrun washing. The vehicle positions itself before or after the front/rear wash and passes the self-propelled wash system for lateral washing. Horizontal washing possible as an option.
This wash system concept can be implemented both in the wash hall and outdoors. The frame construction of the TRAIN WASH C5400 SOA is powder-coated in RAL 9007 grey aluminium as standard.
Stationary wash features:
- All wash zones are possible
- Medium to long wash times depending on vehicle length and wash course
- Appropriately long wash hall/wash surface required
Semi-stationary wash features:
- All wash zones are possible
- Short to medium wash times depending on vehicle length and wash course
- Short wash hall/wash surface possible
Among other things, Christ is characterised by the fact that our engineers find solutions for rare and difficult applications. As can be seen in the picture on the right, we have designed a train wash system for a monorail train. The main challenge was that the "track bed" has a completely different structure, which had to be taken into account accordingly in terms of the dimensions and movement sequences of the system plant engineering.
Another challenge which arose with this project is that the train drives on supports and the wagons are strongly curved underneath. This makes the lower part of the train much more visible than with normal train types and therefore requires intensive cleaning. Our designers developed a special version of a skirt cleaning system that can cope with this task.
The TRAIN WASH system can be designed in the C7000 SOA version for passage washing, semi-stationary washing or for overrun washing of trains and trams with current collector. This consists of 2 portal halves without cross beam. The C7000 SOA system concept can be extended with additional stationary lateral brush brushes from the C1000 SOA.
OVERHEAD WASH CONCEPT
The swivelling, split, horizontal wash brush can also be used to clean round front/rear surfaces.
The frame construction of the TRAIN WASH C7000 SOA is powder-coated in RAL 9007 grey aluminium as standard.
The lateral brushes, controlled by active power measurement, ensure an even and thorough wash result. Due to different trimming lengths on the brush shaft, even slightly curved side sections can be optimally cleaned.
Thanks to the swivelling, split, horizontal wash brush (split horizontal brush), the vehicle can be washed despite the current collector being folded out. Even round vehicle front surfaces can be optimally cleaned thanks to the multi-angle adjustability of the two brush halves. Stationary drying blowers are available for the TRAIN WASH system for an extra charge.
Stationary wash features:
- All wash zones are possible
- Medium to long wash times depending on vehicle length and wash course
- Appropriately long wash hall/wash surface required
Semi-stationary wash features
- All wash zones are possible
- Short to medium wash times depending on vehicle length and wash course
- Short wash hall/wash surface possible
