From electric buses and pioneering components to modern tourism offers: Readers were asked to vote for their favourites in 13 categories for the 7th busplaner innovation award. Munich-based HUSS-VERLAG has now announced the winners.
The trade journal busplaner has announced the winners of the 7th busplaner innovation award. Previously, busplaner readers had voted for their 2025 favourites in the individual categories - 890 votes were cast. The BUS2BUS trade fair in Berlin was the partner of the readers' choice.
The 66 candidates and products nominated by the editorial team for the prestigious award were a who's who of the bus and tourism industry.
With the NOVA BLADE Premium, Otto Christ AG was awarded in the category of vehicle cleaning.

Highlights of the NOVA commercial vehicle wash system:
The NOVA is equipped with newly designed "BLADE PREMIUM illuminated" front cladding with an additional integrated RGB display, which provides clear instructional animations to the driver to assist in entering the system and stopping and correctly positioning the vehicle. In addition, the vehicle is correctly positioned using an ultrasonic sensor, which displays the correct position in the wash system to the driver via colour signals/colour intensity, in a similar way to vehicle parking aids.
The lateral high-pressure Vitesse is integrated in the portal beam and can be operated concurrently with the brush wash during the forward cycle. In order to achieve optimum wash results for a variety of vehicles, the Vitesse is available in different heights. The high pressure uses an oscillating path with rotor nozzles or rigid nozzles and can be operated at a pressure of up to 80 bar.
The integration of lateral high pressure in our wash portal enables a reduction in wash portal dimensions, thereby increasing the maximum available wash length. What's more, this significantly reduces the wash time per vehicle, since the lateral brush and high-pressure washes can take place simultaneously in one wash sequence.
In addition, the high-pressure horizontal beam has been integrated in the portal. This can be equipped with oscillating rotor nozzles or with rigid nozzles at the request of the customer.
The NOVA offers many extra features and innovative solutions, such as automatic detection of mirrorless camera systems on new lorries, for which a separate wash program has been created.
To make wash system operations easier, a new touch operation terminal has been developed with a user-friendly surface, which is available as an option.
